ClearCase Adapter - type initializer threw an exception

description

I'm trying to configure the ClearCase Adapter on a Windows 2008 64bit Server. If I click the 'configure' button at the left source panel I get an error (see attached file). What's going on here?

I found this happens when you try and run the config tool on a machine that doesn't have clearcase installed on it

I'm with the same problem, but I have an windows XP x86, ClearCase Remote Client version 7.0.1.04.00_2009A.D090126 and Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate.

I got the error when i selected the Adapter for the VS 2010 and the system try to Load "ClearCaseSelectedHistoryAdapterForTfs2010.dll".

Someone could help?

Please ensure that the ClearCase client is installed on the same machine as the TFS Integration Platform. If this is the case, please gather the necessary troubleshooting information as per http://blogs.msdn.com/b/willy-peter_schaub/archive/2010/11/15/tfs-integration-platform-troubleshooting-an-unhappy-migration-world.aspx and create a thread on http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/tfsintegration/threads. This discussion list is not monitored by the product team as per the warning on the homepage of http://tfsintegration.codeplex.com/.
